Air Traffic Control (ATC)

Air Traffic Control (ATC)

Please note that we do not provide basic, initial or rating training for Air Traffic Controllers. We only provide the below mentioned courses for trained air traffic controllers who are already working for an Air Navigation Service Provider (ANSP).

Training for Unusual Circumstances and Emergencies

Air Traffic Controllers must be assessed as competent to handle unusual circumstances and aircraft in emergency situations (TRUCE) at least once every 12 months. TRUCE may include live aircraft simulating emergencies, exercises with the aerodrome fire service and exercises on radar simulators. Currently, we can provide assistance to ANSP’s with providing this training and hope to offer standalone training modules in the future.

Refresher training

Refresher training has been a mandatory component of Air Traffic Controller licence re-validation in European legislation for almost ten years. Our refresher training package consists of standard practices using approved operating procedures and standard phraseology. All training is conducted by a combination of computer based training (CBT), lectures, and facilitated group sessions.

Continued Professional Development (CPD)

We can also provide bespoke CPD training to ANSP’s on request. Please contact us so that we can discuss your specific training need.
