As we mark our 10th birthday, it is a moment for us to reflect on our journey of growth, industry partnerships, and our commitment to providing excellence in training to our customers. When ASG was founded in 2015, it was launched with a vision to provide uncompromisingly high-quality, tailored aviation training, has grown into a highly respected EASA-approved training provider with a diverse and global client base, spanning across multiple airlines, state organisations, and thousands of student Pilots.
“By placing training quality, responsiveness, and customer satisfaction at the forefront of everything we do, ASG has developed and grown trust with key stakeholders across the aviation industry, from our partners, to regulators, to private and public aviation organisations, and of course, with our student Pilots”, says Diarmuid O’Riordan, founder of ASG. “We’ve experienced tremendous growth year on year since our foundation, not just in the number of students we’ve trained, but in the variety of organisations we’ve supported with their aviation training and consultancy needs. To support our growth, we have invested consistently in growth enablers from customer relationship management platforms, process automations, our own learning management system and video tutorials, a classroom booking and reservation platform, instructor and crew scheduling tools not to mention significant ongoing investments in both software and hardware technology solutions to continue to enhance the quality of training, consultancy, and support available to our customers. Over the past ten years it has been gratifying to see our team developing, managing, and delivering training across the industry across a spectrum of disciplines from Airline Pilot training, Crew Control, Safety and risk management, Military Pilot training, Apron / Ramp management, Air Defence & Air Interception, Air Traffic Control (ATC), Search & Rescue Tasking (SAR) and co-ordination, Flight Operations and Aircraft Dispatch“.
Over the past decade, ASG has built long lasting relationships with some of the biggest names in the aviation industry. We’ve had the honour of partnering with Aer Lingus, Norwegian Air, SAS Scandinavian Airlines, Emerald Airlines, Hibernian Airlines, Simtech Aviation, Aluminium Offshore, DAS Private Jets, ASL Airlines, the Irish Police Force, GFTS, Path2Pilot, Flyer, Skymates Flight Academy, the United Nations (UN), Aramark, the Irish Coast Guard (IRCG), the Irish Air Corps (IAC) and Ernst & Young to name just a few. In addition, we are grateful to the thousands of student Pilots who have chosen ASG for training. “We’ve had the privilege of training student Pilots in both ATPL and PPL theory – many whom have gone on to join some of the world’s leading airlines. It’s humbling to know that our graduates are out there shaping the future of aviation, and we couldn’t be prouder of their achievements.“
With state-of-the-art facilities, continued significant investment in both our hardware and software learning technologies, and a team of highly skilled instructors, ASG promises to continue to lead the way in providing world-class aviation training where quality is never compromised. We’re excited for what the next decade holds: the aviation industry is constantly evolving, and we will continue to evolve with it and ensure that we remain at the forefront by leading innovation to continuously build on what we can provide to our customers.
It has been an incredibly rewarding experience to have such an impact on our industry and to build up our reputation as one of the industry’s leading training providers.
