ASG helps to ensure the safe conduct of Ireland’s largest Air Show (Bray Air Display)

On Saturday 2 August 2025, Ireland’s largest annual airshow—the Bray Air Display—once again thrilled crowds with a breathtaking celebration of aviation. Drawing hundreds of thousands of spectators to the Bray Seafront, this year’s event was a standout success — and ASG was proud to play a key role in supporting the safe, professional execution of the flying displays.

As one of Ireland’s leading aviation organisations, ASG worked closely with show organisers, authorities, and display teams to help coordinate the complex logistics behind the scenes. Our involvement underscores our ability to support not only airlines and government agencies — but also major public aviation events where safety, timing, and operational excellence are critical.

This year’s Bray Air Display delivered a world-class programme featuring iconic aircraft, elite display teams, and thrilling aerobatics. Highlights from the 2025 flying line-up included:

  • Aer Lingus Airbus A321Neo LR: A show-stopping appearance by Ireland’s national carrier and its next-generation narrowbody jet.

  • AeroSuperBatics Wingwalkers: Daring stunts performed on the wings of vintage biplanes in dramatic formation.

  • Black Knights Parachute Team: Precision skydiving thrills from one of Ireland’s top parachute display teams.

  • Eddie Goggins – The Flying Dentist: High-energy solo aerobatics that left jaws on the floor.

  • Emerald Airlines: Ireland’s regional airline showcasing professionalism and precision flying.

  • Garda Air Support Unit: Aerial policing in action — Ireland’s “eyes in the sky.”

  • Irish Air Corps: A powerful demonstration by Ireland’s military aviators.

  • Irish Historic Flight Foundation: Classic Chipmunk aircraft formation bringing vintage aviation to life.

  • P‑51 Mustang “Marinell”: Legendary WWII warbird tearing through the sky with thunder and speed.

  • Search and Rescue Irish Coast Guard Display: A tribute to the real-life heroes flying the Beechcraft 200 and the Aw189 Helicopter to protect lives around Ireland’s coasts.

  • Spitfire: The unmistakable roar of Britain’s most iconic fighter of WWII.

  • Strikemaster Jet: A powerful jet demo combining noise, speed, and nostalgia.

  • Team Raven: Seven Van’s RV-8 aircraft in tight, precision aerobatics — a crowd favourite.

While the public marvelled at the aerial displays, ASG’s team was on hand in the background, helping to ensure every display took off — and landed — safely and on time and we ensured:

  • Operational coordination with display pilots and organisers

  • Advisory support on safety procedures, restricted airspace, and separation

  • Liaison with authorities, including air traffic, Gardaí, and emergency services

  • On-site aviation expertise, drawing on our background in both training and real-world operations

With a strong track record of supporting aviation across sectors — from commercial airlines to defence and government clients — ASG is uniquely positioned to provide critical expertise to this high-profile public event.

We thank the event organisers, display pilots, emergency services, and all stakeholders who made Bray Air Display 2025 a success. And to the hundreds of thousands who turned out — thank you for keeping Ireland’s passion for aviation alive.
