ASG has proudly concluded its most recent Flight Operations course, conducted from 29th September to 10th October 2025. The course brought together a diverse and talented group of participants representing ASL Airlines, SAS Scandinavian Airlines, and SG Ferry Services, reflecting the continued trust that major aviation and transport organisations place in ASG for delivering world-class, compliant aviation training.
This session showcased the breadth of ASG’s industry engagement, with participants from both Part-CAT and Part-NCC operations. Two of the attendees represented Part-CAT commercial air transport operators, while other participants came from a Part-NCC (Non-Commercial Complex) operator. The mix created valuable cross-industry dialogue, enabling participants to share operational perspectives and explore how regulatory frameworks apply in different contexts.
The Flight Operations course provides essential knowledge and competencies for professionals involved in supporting airline and flight operations. The curriculum covers a comprehensive range of subjects including:
- Regulatory Framework and Compliance: Understanding the EASA structure, Part-ORO, Part-CAT, and Part-NCC operator responsibilities.
- Flight Planning and Dispatch: Route planning, performance calculations, and operational decision-making.
- Aircraft Performance and Limitations: Applying operational data to ensure safe and efficient flight planning.
- Meteorology and Operational Flight Risk Management: Using weather data for operational assessment and pre-flight planning.
- Human Factors and CRM Principles: Promoting safe operational coordination and effective communication across teams.
Each topic is designed to equip trainees with the theoretical foundation and practical awareness necessary to perform effectively within modern airline and business aviation operations departments.
ASG continues to be trusted by the aviation industry for delivering high-quality, compliant, and practical training that meets the evolving needs of both commercial and non-commercial operators. The organisation’s commitment to quality and regulatory integrity ensures that every graduate of its Flight Operations programme is well-prepared to contribute to safe and efficient flight operations.
With another successful session completed, ASG remains dedicated to maintaining its reputation as one of Europe’s most respected aviation training organisations. The next Flight Operations course is already generating significant interest, underscoring ASG’s position as a leader in the provision of specialised aviation training.
