At ASG, we believe professional pilot training goes far beyond simply passing ATPL theory exams. While mastering the academic knowledge is essential, preparing for a successful career as an airline pilot requires much more — confidence, preparation, and a clear understanding of what airlines are looking for during recruitment.
Through our ASG Crew Community, we aim to support our students throughout their entire journey — from ATPL theory to securing that important first airline position.
As part of this initiative, we are delighted to host an exclusive webinar Preparing to Realise Your Potential in Airline Selection for current and past ASG students.
For this special session we have teamed up with Airbus A330 Captain and professional pilot coach Conor Keeling, founder of Professional Pilot Coaching.
Conor has extensive experience in the aviation industry and now focuses on helping aspiring airline pilots prepare for airline interviews, assessments and selection processes. Through his coaching work, he supports pilots in building confidence, refining their preparation and performing at their best during airline recruitment.
The webinar will be hosted by ASG founder Diarmuid O’Riordan, who previously flew with Conor on the Airbus A330. Together they will lead a relaxed conversational session followed by an open Q&A, where students can ask questions and gain practical insight into airline recruitment.
During the session, Conor will share valuable guidance on topics such as:
• What airlines are really looking for in pilot candidates
• How pilots can prepare effectively for airline interviews and assessments
• Common mistakes made during airline selection processes
• Practical advice to help pilots realise their full potential
